On chain

Provenance

Parents, children, and one recursion that closes a loop

Parent-child inscriptions tie a collection together on Bitcoin itself, rather than on a marketplace that has to stay online for the link to mean anything. Two of Occulum’s parents were sent to Satoshi’s wallet and one was burned outright, so nothing can ever be added to those sets.

Not every collection has it. Where a set has no parent-child structure, it says so.
